I recently acquired a porcelain beaker which measures app 4" high and 3" across.
It shows the sepia image of what appears to be a First Wolrd War soldier from the Royal Artillery.
If I am correct the piece was made between 1902 and 1922.
It looks for all the world like a one-off family piece although I would suspect Doulton did not produce such individual items.
If you have any information whatsoever or know where I might find it, I would be very grateful.
Many thanks

Hello, I got your email address from your website on Royal Doulton. I recently purchased a large bulldog but cannot find anything about it online. It has a different pattern on the face and has what looks to be a French or Dutch flag draped across it. I will attach pictures. Have you seen anything like this before?
Thank you kindly,
Daisy Smith

Notice: The stripes on the back of the Bull dog are not the same as the original Bull dog.  Hmmmmm!
