I was wondering if any of your members could identify the ALP lettering on the backstamp of my egg cup, pictures below. I have looked in all my books and on the internet but cannot turn up anything. I cannot identify the pattern either! As you can see it has a grey band at the top and then 5 green bands of varying width. I hope you find this interesting and can throw some light on the backstamp and perhaps pattern.
I used to help run The Egg Cup Collectors Club of Great Britain which unfortunately disbanded some years ago now but non of my egg cup friends I am still in contact with can help me.
Very best wishes and thank you
Hi, I hope you can help me. I cannot find any information on this beautiful bowl!
It was grandmothers before it was my mothers. They have passed so I don't know, and can't find anything about this bowl. It is 11 1/2 " at the opening and 5" tall. I'm attaching some pictures. I look forward to your reply. Thank you ever so much!

I came across your website and was hoping you could help me out. I recently purchased a pair of Doulton Lambeth foliage vases. I am trying to figure out who the artist was as well as a year they were made. The seller originally said they were done by Maud Bowden but after a little research on my own I realized the initials don't match other pieces done by Bowden. Also the seller mentioned they were circa 1925 but the stamp, from my research, was used up until 1956. I found a beer mug done by a Jessie Boyce who's initials closely matched those on my vases. I attached photos showing each vase and their bases. Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I am sure there is a wealth of knowledge within the club and I am grateful for your time. Thank you.
